Getting started

How do I sell my stuff on Uniarts?

Become a Uniarts Creator and you’ll be able to upload your art for us to sell online for you. You can complete the application to become a Uniarts Creator here.

What happens once I've applied?

We’ll review your application and will get to work preparing your profile for you.

We’re currently taking on our final round of artists. Once that’s complete, we’ll be launching our artist dashboard – an awesome space where you’ll have direct access to adding more art, viewing stats on your current art & more!

Is it really free to sign up?

It sure is! You can sign up to become a Uniarts Creator without any upfront fees or charges.

What do I have to do?

Head here to start the application. We’ll send you a follow up email so you can upload your art and provide us with your bank details so we can pay you!

How much money will I make?

“This is all well and good, but how much money am I actually going to make?”

We hear you. It all sounds encouraging and positive but you need to know how this is actually going to give you a return on your time.

The annoying answer – it depends.

Some art prints will sell plenty, others won’t sell at all. It’s hard for us to give a ballpark figure on how much you’ll make using Uniarts.

What if I don't have an ABN?

If you don’t have an ABN it’s still possible to set up an account and be paid through Uniarts. There is a form called ‘Statement By Supplier’. You can download that here. If you need help filling out this form please send our team a message and we will be happy to help. hello@uniarts.com.au.

Preparing your artwork

What is the quality of the art prints?

In short, very high. Epson Ultra Premium Luster Photo Paper is between a gloss and matte finish, providing a highly saturated look and maximum ink coverage. Because of its saturation and resistance to fingerprints, luster paper is a popular choice for giclée quality photographic prints.

What if my art doesn’t match the dimensions you sell?

We try our best to provide a wide variety of dimensions to fit your art. At the end of the day though, we can only provide so many different variants and so we apologise if your desired aspect ratio is not available. We’re a growing community at the moment so we’re hopeful we will be able to provide more and more variations in future for our Creators.

Where can I scan my artwork if it's bigger than A4?

Commission & Uniarts

How does Uniarts make money?

Uniarts makes money based on commission from the sale of the art. We’re big on transparency, so here’s a simple guide on how the money gets dished out:

When we make a sale for you on Uniarts we need to cover the costs that have gone into the sale. Namely, that’s printing, shipping and advertising.

After that we dish out the profit – 80% goes to the artist, and 20% stays at Uniarts so we can keep this crazy old thing going!

How are you different from the other guys?

Two big things lead the way for Uniarts – staying transparent, and helping out Aussie artists. Many of our competitors are massive international companies churning out profits for themselves. Often, these stores have thousands and thousands of artists, meaning you end up as a tiny fish in a very big ocean.

Uniarts keeps things smaller, operating only within Australia. By doing this, we can do our best to make sure no one gets left behind.

Where are the sales pages?

On the way! Uniarts is currently in its final launch phase, taking artists onboard so we can get ready to launch the store in the (very) near future. Stay tuned!
